1、一般分割值0.618被公认为具有审美意义的比例数字，装修时选择水晶灯也是要考虑到理想分割。太大不行太小也是不行的。一般来说，10-25平米的客厅，我们选择在1米左右的水晶灯是很有美感的，因为这个尺寸的现代水晶灯其理想分割点近似于0.618。30平米以上的还是选择1.5米及以上。
2、客厅所需的照度一般在150-300Lux，起居间的照度为150-300Lux;一般书房的照度为100Lux，但在阅读时照度为600Lux，对于大众来说10-25平米客厅的照度要求我们一般的水晶灯尺寸在1米及以下就是可以达到的，30平米以上的就要选择在1米以上了。光源一般选择白炽灯40w的这个是通用的光源。个别要求节约的朋友选择节能灯也是可以的。
3、总结起来说，面积在10-15平方米的客厅，建议选购直径60cm尺寸的，因为空间太小，但选择尺寸太大的灯具，会使空间显得不协调，而且过大的灯具会让人有一种压迫感。面积在15-20平方米左右的客厅，可以考虑使用直径为70cm的灯具。客厅尺寸在20-30平方米左右，建议选购直径80cm尺寸的灯具。
